Android Data Recovery, a data recovery tool, is specially designed for restoring lost data including contacts, messages, photos, video and document from your Android phone or tablet. With a clean interface and simple operation, Android Data Recovery has powerful functions enabling users to regain almost all kinds of data from Android phone and tablet and preview them before recovery.
To retrieve your data, download and install RecoveryTool Android Data Recovery on your computer and follow the steps below.
Step 1. Connect Android device to PC
Launch Android Data Recovery and select "Recover Android Data" in "Recover".
Note: During the recovery, do not start any other Android phone management software.
Step 2. Enable USB debugging mode (Optional)
If you have enabled USB debugging, skip this step. If not yet, follow the way below:
1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Tap "Settings" < Click "Applications" < Click "Development" < Check "USB debugging"
2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Tap "Settings" < Click "Developer options" < Check "USB debugging"
3) For Android 4.2 or newer: tap "Settings" > click "About Phone" > tap "Build number" for several times until getting a note "You are under developer mode" > Back to "Settings" > click "Developer options" > check "USB debugging".
Step 3. Analyze data on Android device
After setting the USB debugging, phone is in data analyze state. You need to make sure your phone's battery is more than 20%.
Note: If your device fails to be supported by Android Data Recovery , the program may guide you to set "USB Mass Storage" on your device to scan data. If there is no "USB Mass Storage" for choice, you need to root your Android phone.
If your phone has been rooted, click "Allow" and confirm that the request of "Superuser" is remembered forever. Then back to your computer, and click "Start" on the program's screen to scan your device.
Note: Some devices may present the "Allow" button for several times. Just keep clicking "Allow" until it disappear.
Step 4. Select file types to scan
Now select the type of files (including photos, video, messages, contacts, etc.) you need to recover.
Step 5. Preview & Restore
After scanning, all recoverable data will be shown in organized categories. You can preview the data and choose those you want and click "Recover" to save them on your computer. For contacts, you can save them in CSV, vCard or HTML format; for messages, save them in CSV or HTML format.
Note: To easily find the lost data, you can slide the button at the top of the window to only display those deleted items.
