I recently lost some important data on my iPhone, so I decided to restore iPhone from iCloud backup. However, other important data on my iOS device would be overwritten by directly restoring iPhone from iCloud. I was confused how to restore my iPhone to iCloud selectively.
Don't feel troubled! The software RecoveryTool iPhone Data Recovery will give you a hand to solve the problem above. Using iPhone Data Recovery, with your device data backed up in iCloud, you are able to conveniently set up a new device or restore your iOS device from iCloud backups as your expectation.
On your iPhone, go to Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage, then tap your device listed under Backups to confirm the date and size of its latest backup. Then move to Settings > General > Reset, then tap "Erase all content and settings".
From the Apps & Data screen, tap Restore from iCloud Backup, then sign in to iCloud. Proceed to "Choose backup," then choose from a list of available backups in iCloud. Then you have iCloud backup restored on your iPhone.
Step 1. Install the software and log in your Apple iCould account
At first, download and install iPhone Data Recovery software on your computer. Then launch the program and choose "Recover" > "Recover iOS Data". When the window comes out as below, input your Apple ID and the password to sign in your Apple iCloud account.
Note: No need for you to worry about the Confidentiality of your iCloud account, because this program will NOT save any information of your iCloud account.
Step 2. Download and export your iCloud backup
After logging in, you will see the backup files of your iCloud account. Select the one that you want to recover by clicking "Download" button in the menu. Then in the pop-up window, choose the data and files that you want to restore to your iPhone, and download. When finishing download, click the same button to start extracting, and you'll see an interface as below.
Step 3. Preview and restore iPhone from iCloud backup
After scanning, you can preview the data in your iCloud backup, such as photos, music, contacts, messages, videos, notes, reminders, etc. Now you can select any data and files whatever you want to restore easily by ticking it.
